(Passenger) Flight Simulator

flight sim where you and your friends sit in economy for 11 hours

speech-to-text notes app dump, the moment of inspiration:

Idea for indie game:

An airplane game simulator 30 people are so join an online room and get randomly assigned of seats in an airplane. There’s one screen of the game where they can pick as if in an infotainment system a game to be played on the airplane and these include classic airplane games like battleship poker who wants to be a millionaire, etc., and the kind of aesthetics are of the Stanley parable ask mixed with five nights at Freddy’s, where one of the views is the actual screen where the game happens, but then the user can also back off and get the POV of the passenger in the plane and that’s where the funny bit of the game happens because opinion where they see they can see the screen of those ahead of them so if they’re playing battleship against someone is also in the room and that person sitting in front of them in an angle that’s visible and they might be able to see that screen those interactions need to happen in real time graphics wise as I said something 3-D something Stanley parable ask those kinds of sounds. I’m also reminded of the toss the paper kind of aesthetics, especially when it comes to sounds airplane sounds people coffee, notably not all of the seats in the plane will be people in the room a lot of them or either people sleeping or watching movies which can also obstruct the view, and the passengers themselves also obstructive view that’s kind of the idea

Actual multiplayer part of Gameplay is really light and we can handle w just websockwts pretty easily I think

Same idea of crating a room and sharing with friends over a simple link as cityquiz collab

And a little seatmap that shows where in the plane you’re seated

That kind of dreamy vintage low res 3D animations

Things like PA interrupting the in screen games
