Mac OS nightshift sucks and its not clear why. its all or nothing and you have no control over the time beyond a set custom time or sunrise and sunset. I wanted my monitor to strt warming up an hour before sunset and to do so gradually without me noticing it. NightShifter does just that!
To install it just point your agent to it. better installation methods tbd!
